On behalf of the North Georgia Camera Club Council, we would like to welcome you to our website and hope you will find our activities educational, motivating and fun. On October 23rd, 2010 the Rome Photo Club hosted the third annual North Georgia Camera Club Council NG3C Shootout at Berry College.
We sincerely hope that those of you who participated enjoyed the fellowship, fun, and competitive spirit of the day. You and your fellow club members who signed up participated collectively as a team in pursuit of the judges' choice as " Shootout" champions.
From the beginning it has been our intention and desire to create a grand annual event that will bring photo enthusiasts from the North Georgia region and beyond closer together, individually and collectively, in hopes of promoting and enhancing the photo club community. This annual event promises to be a wonderful opportunity to share ideas and experiences, network, and make new friends as we all come together to indulge our passion for photography.
You will notice that our Gallery section contains the results of the past three years' events. Please study them closely, as they represent the type and quality of efforts that our competitions have fostered.
Several times during the year the 12-14 or more leaders of the North Georgia Camera Club Council meet to discuss plans and create the agenda and procedures for the NG3C. We would like to thank those of you who go beyond the competitions to help make them happen. It is enormously energizing to be part of this club of clubs!
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the Rome Photo Club for sponsoring us this year, to Showcase Photography of Atlanta, all of the vendors and sponsors, our judges, and all of the participating clubs for making these events possible.
