WELCOME! 

Greetings to all, and welcome to the 15th edition of the North Georgia Camera Club Council SHOOTOUT, 2025 ! This year your host, once again, is the North Georgia Camera Club Council, as well as the Cobb Photographic Society. Our destination for the Shootout Event is Marietta, Georgia, centered around the Marietta Square; a wonderful backdrop for an excellent day of photography and fellowship. It is a beautiful Historic setting for our awesome annual event on Saturday, November 1st, 2025. 

There are many people and organizations to thank for helping us make this event happen. The NG3C leadership group, that includes representatives from the participating member clubs, have all been involved in the planning phase, but special thanks to Mr. Ralph Burr, Mr. Roger Easley, Mr. Richard Nichols, and Mrs. Melissa Moody ( NG3C Officers ) for their time and efforts, to bring this special opportunity for a truly great day to all of you participating! Without their leadership, the Shootout would not be a reality. Also, we would like to express special thanks and gratitude to our sponsors, KEH Camera (represented by Mr Phil Kaplan), Mr Berrie Smith, The Atlanta School of Photography and Director Sara Keith, Barry Glustoff with Digital Arts Studio in Atlanta, and all other supporting vendors and donors. Please remember their businesses and their support for helping to make this event possible. We also need to give special recognition to The Atlanta School of Photography and Sara Keith for providing our especially talented judges, tasked with choosing winning images from so many amazing photographic submissions. Theirs may be the most difficult job of all! We also offer sincere thanks to our two speakers Glen VarnHagen and John Haigwood for sharing their presentations with us. Please take advantage of the opportunity to expand your photographic experience through their knowledge and vision. Please also let them know how much we appreciate their time and effort for being an important part of our event.

 Most of all, I want to thank all of you who have dedicated your day and made the commitment to being a participant in the 2025 Shootout. Your continued interest and participation are certainly confirmation that our area camera clubs remain active and relevant. It is exciting and a pleasure to meet and share the day with you all again! I sincerely hope you will enjoy your time in Downtown Marietta, and that your photographic journey will be successful and inspirational. Best wishes for your teams, and the fellowship you share with friends and fellow photographers.
